MegaPro Plus Songbook: Which App You Actually Need

"Megapro plus" is the top related search for MegaPro Songbook — and it causes real confusion. People with a MegaPro Plus player search for a "MegaPro Plus songbook" app and find two different ones. Here's which is which.

The two apps

MegaPro Songbook by App Master Box is the official songbook, built for MegaPro Karaoke systems including the Plus line. Free on Google Play, no data collection, updated August 2026.

MegaPro Karaoke Songbook by ihenvyr is an unofficial alternative with around 150,000 downloads. It's a third-party songbook for MegaPro Plus devices — functional, but not from the same maker and not the official app.

Which one for your player?

If you own a MegaPro Plus DVD (Amos, Ezra, Migael, Piolo, Piolo Jr) or a Plus HDD player, the official MegaPro Songbook covers you. That's the one to install first. The unofficial app exists as a backup option — some users prefer its layout — but check that its song numbering matches your specific player before relying on it at a party.

Don't mix brands

The same developer makes separate songbook apps for other brands: Platinum Songbook, TJ Media Songbook. Song codes are brand-specific — a MegaPro code means nothing on a Platinum player. If your house has two different machines, install both apps and label them clearly. Your guests will thank you.

Bottom line: "MegaPro Plus songbook" = the official MegaPro Songbook app. Start there.
